Actors who died in 2020

We lost a lot of stars just within the first half of this year, due to one cause or the other, though they're gone, they will never be forgotten.

1. Caroline Flack
Caroline Flack is a TV presenter, she is known for her roles in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now!, The X Factor, and Love Island, she was found dead in her flat in London on Feb 15, it was ruled as a suicide, she was 40.

2. Gregory Tyree Boyce
Gregory Tyree Boyce actor twilight
Gregory Tyree Boycee, 30, mostly known for his role as Tyler Crowley in The Twilight movie was found dead with his girlfriend, Natalie Adepoju in their home in Las Vegas, living behind two kids, Alaya and Egypt, the cause of death isn't known yet.

3. Fred Willard
Comedian, Fred Willard died of natural causes on May 15, a native of Ohio and four-time Emmy nominee, he is known for his role as Buck Laughlin in Best In Show, This Spinal Tap, Everyday Loves Raymond and Modern Family.

4. Ken Osmond
Ken Osmond died in his home at Los Angeles on May 18, Ken is known for his role as Eddie Haskell in Leave It To Beaver, he was also a motorcycle officer in L.A.P.D until his retirement in 1988.

5. Lynn Shelton
The director and filmmaker known for her work on independent films like Mad Men, your Sister's Sister, GLOW and Little Flies everywhere, died of a previously unidentified blood disorder on May 15, she was 54.

6. Jerry Stiller
Jerry Stiller, a prolific comedian and the father of famous actor, Ben Stiller, died of natural causes, he he is known for his role on Seinfeld, and has appeared opposite his son, Ben, in Zoolander.

7. Sam Lloyd
Sam Lloyd, best known for his role as lawyer, Ted Buckland on Scrubs, died of brain tumor on April 30, he was also previously diagnosed with metastatic cancer.

8. BJ Hogg
A northern Irish actor, BJ died at 65, he is known for his role in the fall, and ad Addam Marbrand in the famous TV series, Game Of Thrones, as a bannerman of the House of Lannister, however the cause of death as not been disclosed.

9. Shirley Knight
Shirley was both a stage and film actress, and also two-time Oscar nominee, Shirley died of national causes on April 22, she was 83, Shirley Knight is known for her role as Phyllis van de Lamp on Desperate Housewives.

10. Tom Lester
Tom Lester was an actor and evangelist, he died on April 20 in Nashville from Parkinson's disease, he was 81, best known for his role as farmland Eb Dawson on the TV show, Green Acres.

11. Brian Dunnehy
Brian is a two-time Tony award and Golden award winner, he is well known for his performance in death of a salesman, as Sheriff Will Teasle in First Blood alongside Sylvester Stallone (1982), and Tommyboy (1995) alongside Chris Farley, he died on April 15 of natural causes at the age of 81.

12. Honor Blackman
Honor Blackman is a British actress, she was best known for her role as Pussy Galore in James Bond film, Gold finger (1964), she also played as Cathy Gale in the 60s spy TV show, The Avengers.
    Honor died from natural causes at the age of 94.

13. Lee Fierro
Lee Fierro was best known for her role in the 1935 film, Jaws and has worked with Steven Spielberg, she died at the age of 91 from complications of COVID-19.

14. Shirley Douglas
Shirley Douglas was a Canadian actress and mother of Kiefer Sutherland, she is best known for her role in the Stanley Kubrick's 1962 film, Lolita, and David Cronenberg's 1988 film, Dead Ringers, she won a Gemini award.
     She died three days after her birthday from pneumonia.

15. Logan Williams
Logan Williams is well known for playing young Barry Allen on the CW superhero drama, The Flash, died suddenly on April 2, he was 16.
    His mother, Marlyse Williams confirmed his death to Tri-City news of British Columbia, Canada, saying that the family is "absolutely devastated", she also added that the family is really having an hard time due to the coronavirus pandemic "I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild", she said " it's hard"

16. Kenny Rogers
Kenny Rogers was a country music icon and hall of famer, his biggest hit songs were "The gambler"," Ruby","Island in the stream" with Dolly Parton which reached No.1 on the pop charts in 1983, and "Lucille"
       He sold more than 100 million records, won three Grammy awards, and about 19 American music awards, Kenny died on March 20 of natural causes, he was 81.

17. Llye Waggoner
Llye Waggoner is known for starring on The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1974, and as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman, he died on March 17 at the age of 84 from cancer, a disease he has been battling from a long time ago.

18. Max Von Snow
Max Von Snow is known for his role as priest in the iconic horror film, The Exorcist, also in Hannah And Her Sisters by Woody Allen, as Lorsan Tekka in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Three-Eyed Raven on the HBO's Game Of Thrones, and in Ingmar Bergman's last film, The Seventh Seal, he was nominated for best Academy Award for his role in Pelle The Conqueror (1989).
     His wife, Catherine Von Snow, a documentary filmmaker and producer confirmed his death to the French press the following day after his death at his home in Provence, France on March 8, he was 90.

19. Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant, who is known as one of the  greatest basketball players, died in an helicopter crash with his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna in Calabasas, California on January 26, 2020 while on their way to watch a basketball game, there were also seven others on board who died in the crash.

20. Kirk Douglas
One of the greatest actor, Kirk Douglas was an Hollywood icon, Kirk died on Feb 5 at the age of 103, since the Golden Age of Hollywood, Kirk Douglas has received more than 92 credits.
    He is well known for his performance in Spartacus, Paths To Glory, Out Of The Past, and The Bad And Beautiful.
