Top 10 Swordsmen in Game of thrones

   Some movies are pretty interesting, others addictive, and that's when game of thrones comes in, I mean i binge-watched the movie, and I noticed one thing common is swordfighting, where you see clashes of blades, dragonglass and valyrian steel between the westeros and essos, so I compiled a list of my top 10 fighters in Game of thrones, because there are a lot of characters who go to battle or at least are involved in one fight or the other.

1. Jaime Lannister

 Son of Tywin Lannister, twin brother of Cersei and elder brother of Tyrion Lannister, Jaime became the youngest member of the honorable kingsguard during the reign of Aerys Targaryen II, he earned the nicknamed, "Kingslayer" after slaying the king for threatening to destroy Kings Landing, and even after losing his right hand, still gave Brienne an hard time in a swordfight and eventually kills Euron Greyjoy in a one-on-one swordfight, impressive!

2. Brienne of Tarth

 Brienne is the only child of Lord Selwyn Tarth, albeit she is a woman, she's often seen overpowering a lot of men, almost beat Jaime Lannister in a fight and eventually defeated the The Hound in a one-on-one swordfight, Jaime gifted her the Valyrian steel sword, oathkeeper to find Sansa and Arya Stark to fulfill his promise to Catelyn Stark, and later on she was awarded knight by Jaime.

3. Sandor "The Hound" Clegane

 I really enjoyed watching this guy, he has the same kind of energy as his older brother, Gregor, Sandor is powerful, and known for been extremely fierce, he's one of the most dangerous fighters of westeros.

  He was loyal to the Lannisters, serving King Joffery, despite his mean and wild nature, he's emotional towards Sansa and Arya, Sandor eventually manages to kill Gregor in the end, even after Gregor became a monster after been injected by Cersei.

4. Bronn of the blackwater

Tbh, I mostly liked Bronn for his sense of humor, but aside that, he's highly skilled, he fights for Tyron Lannister during the trial for combat at the vale and kills Set vardis Even to save Tyron's pityful life, he's cunning, a skilled sellsword and marksman, he destroyed Stannis Baratheon's fleet by lighting fire, and also took on a dragon with the big ol' crossbow howitzer.

5. Daario Naharis

He was sold as a slave at a younger age, Daario was trained as a pit fighter, later on he was granted freedom after he earned his master so much money, he was also a member of the second sons , a lieutenant.

   He became a skilled fighter after fighting all his life, he killed both captains of the second sons, before leaving to serve Daenerys Targaryen, he fought the soldiers of yunkai alongside Ser Jorah Mormont and Greyworm, albeit being outnumbered, he also killed the mereenese champion in a single combat, didn't know how he disappeared though.

6. Oberyn Martell

  Oberyn is extremely skillful with the spear, so impressive, he's nicknamed "The red viper" and as the prince of dorne, he served in essos, his sister, Elia was raped and murdered by Gregor, making him seek for vengeance.

    On behalf of his older brother, Doran, he goes to kings landing to represent him in the council, with his motive to avenge for his sister, he becomes Tyrion's champion in the trial by combat against Gregor "The mountain" Clegane, after the satisfying death of King Jeffrey.

    Oberyn was so fast, skilled the spear and dominated Gregor in the fight, despite looking like a midget compared to the gigantic Gregor, Oberyn stabs Gregor with his spear, shows off, thinking Gregor's halfdead, the next thing I saw was Gregor crushing his skull, so shocking!

7. Gregor "The mountain" Clegane

Gregor is gigantic, he's one of the formidable fighters in westeros, he's really fierce, cruel and coldblooded, he's known for being a murderer and rapist, due to his freakish height and size, his extremely powerful and wears the heaviest and thickest armour in the seven kingdoms.

8. Syrio Forel

From Braavos, he's a master in swordfighting, Syrio was hired by Ned Stark to train his daughter, Arya, although he didn't appear much on screen, we saw the best of him, he taught Arya the Braavosi fighting style of water dancing.

    When Ser Meryn Trant came to take Arya, Syrio fought him and killed all his guards so she could run, but was eventually killed by Ser Meryn Trant.

9. Greyworm

Always serious and doesn't smile, Greyworm is the commander of the unsullied, he was trained in swordfighting from a very young age, he is loyal to Daenarys Targaryen.

10. Euron Greyjoy

I know you're probably thinking what the hell this lunatic is doing here, well he's a pretty good swordfighter though, attacks Yara's ship, kills almost everyone on the ship, adopts her, thanks to Jaime, he deserves that sword through the gut, ugh! what a satisfying death.
